Hand lubrication

          This is the most original method, in the case of insufficient lubricating oil in the bearing, the oil is supplied by the oiler.However, this method is difficult to maintain a certain amount of oil, due to  neglect to forget the danger of refueling is larger, usually only used for light load, low speed or intermittent movement occasions, the best operation, in the refueling hole set dust cover or ball valve, and felt, cotton, wool and other filter device.

Drop lubrication


        Usually used for light load and medium load bearings with circular speed less than 4 ~ 5m/s, the supply of roughly quantitative lubricating oil from the container through the hole, needle, valve, etc., the most classic is the drip oil cup, the drip oil amount varies significantly with the lubricating oil viscosity, bearing clearance and the location of the oil supply hole.

Rope lubrication

     Using the capillary action of the oil pad, the lubricating oil in the oil pool is applied to the shaft diameter surface. This method can keep the friction surface clean often, but the dust will block the capillary holes and cause insufficient oil supply. The oil supply of oil pad lubrication is usually only 1/20 of oil lubrication

      This lubrication method is to immerse a part of the bearing in lubricating oil, which is often used for thrust bearings with vertical shafts, but not for radial bearings with horizontal shafts.

splash lubrication

       Lubricating oil splashed by the beating of rotating parts in the oil tank is supplied to bearings, which is suitable for bearings with higher speed.

Pressure oil supply lubrication

      It is the most stable lubrication method to supply oil to bearings by the pressure of lubricating pump, and recover the lubricating oil flowing from bearings to the oil pool for recycling, which is suitable for high-speed, heavy-duty and important sliding bearings.

Spray lubrication

The lubrication method of atomizing lubricating oil and spraying it on the friction surface is suitable for high-speed bearings.

Circulating oil lubrication

     The filtered oil is conveyed to the bearing parts by an oil pump, and the lubricating oil passing through the bearing is filtered and cooled before being used. Because the circulating oil can take away a certain amount of heat and cool the bearing, this method is suitable for bearing parts with high speed.

Jet lubrication

     High-pressure oil is injected into the bearing through the nozzle with an oil pump, and the oil injected into the bearing flows into the oil tank through the other end of the bearing. When the bearing rotates at a high speed, the rolling body and the cage also make the surrounding air flow at a fairly high rotating speed, so it is difficult to send lubricating oil to the bearing by general lubrication methods. At this time, the lubricating oil must be sprayed into the bearing by high-pressure injection, and the nozzle should be placed between the inner ring and the center of the cage. Bearing lubrication is a continuous work, and the replacement cycle of lubricating oil is based on the different use conditions and oil quantity of bearings. Under normal circumstances, it should be replaced once a year when the operating temperature is below 50℃ and there is little dust. When the oil temperature reaches 100℃, it should be replaced once every three months or less.
